For many brands, the Amazon opportunity is restricted because of the exclusivity of collections, products, or promotions to other retailers. For a partner in the Beauty category, their commitment to the opportunity on Amazon meant we created an Amazon exclusive brand.​

Approach

We used Amazon’s brand analytics data to present a business case based on revenue and search volume for an Amazon exclusive fragrance brand. We worked closely with various stakeholder teams to design the brand, including the operations team on packaging that would best suit FBA processes, designers on the fragrance concept, senior leaders on pricing and range, and marketing on a bold advertising plan. Within 3 months of launch, Escentuals had over 350 ratings at an average 4.4 stars, and had shipped over 4k units.​​
